Absolutely! Spaying and neutering is one of the most important ways to improve the health and welfare of cats while reducing the number of homeless kittens. For Tiny Katz & Co. Rescue, it's also a key part of ensuring every adopted kitten has the best chance at a healthy, stable future.

Why do you require your kittens to live indoors?
At Tiny Katz & Co. Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves a long, healthy, and happy life. For that reason, we require our adopted cats to live primarily indoors.
Indoor cats are protected from traffic, predators, contagious diseases, parasites, harsh weather, and many other dangers that outdoor cats face every day. They also help protect local wildlife while enjoying a safe, enriching environment with their families.
We encourage adopters to provide plenty of playtime, climbing opportunities, scratching posts, window perches, and interactive toys. For those who want to give their cat time outside, we recommend secure options such as a screened catio or supervised harness walks.
Our goal is simple: every kitten we rescue deserves the opportunity to grow old in a safe and loving home.

Why do you recommend adopting two kittens together?
The short answer is simple: two kittens are often happier, healthier, and easier to care for than one.
Kittens are naturally social animals. Between 8 weeks and 6 months of age, they are learning important life skills through play and interaction with other kittens. Having a feline companion helps them develop confidence, appropriate social behaviors, and healthy outlets for their energy.
They Keep Each Other Company
When you're at work, running errands, or sleeping, your kittens won't be alone. They have a built-in best friend to cuddle, groom, play, and nap with, helping prevent loneliness and boredom.
They Learn Good Behavior
Through play, kittens teach one another important social skills, including bite inhibition, appropriate play, and communication. This can reduce unwanted behaviors such as rough play with people or excessive biting.
They Burn Off Energy Together
Kittens have a tremendous amount of energy! Two kittens will naturally chase, wrestle, and play together, helping satisfy their need for exercise. As a result, they're often less likely to climb curtains, attack ankles, or entertain themselves in ways you may not appreciate.
They Adjust More Easily
Moving to a new home can be stressful. Having a familiar companion provides comfort and security, making the transition smoother and helping both kittens settle into their new family more quickly.
They Support Each Other Throughout Life
Many kittens form lifelong bonds with their siblings or close companions. Watching them groom each other, curl up together for naps, and play throughout the day is one of the greatest joys of adopting a pair.
Is It More Expensive?
There are additional costs for food, veterinary care, and supplies, but many families find that the benefits far outweigh the added expense. Because the kittens entertain each other, they often require less of your time and attention than a single kitten.
Can I Adopt Just One Kitten?
Yes. We understand that every family and every kitten is different. While we strongly encourage adopting kittens in pairs whenever possible, we carefully evaluate each adoption individually. Some kittens thrive as single pets, particularly if they will have plenty of human interaction or another friendly feline companion at home.
